eZSURE SubQ™ is designed to meet the needs of self-infusion at home via subcutaneous route. The direct infusion from vial as well as easy to operate user interface supports patient safety and reduces medication wastage. Unlike the pumping mechanism of syringe pumps which pushes the entire content of the syringe during infusion, eZSURE SubQ™ pump draws multiple pockets of small amounts in each cycle. This reduces the occurrence of issues related to infusing fluids with high viscosity.

Direct from Vial Infusion

With eZSURE SubQ™ no transfer of medication from vial to syringe is needed. This helps to avoid contamination and wastage of expensive medication and disposables.

Fast Auto PRIME – Accurate Manual PRIME

In subcutaneous infusion, eZSURE SubQ™ patented smart priming fills the tube accurately depending on the number of needles used. Its accurate manual prime feature allows for medication to fill the entire tube just before the needle hub, ensuring the needle tip is not wetted. No more messy priming of needle sets, saves time and the use of disposable syringes. eZSURE SubQ™ also allows blood reflux checks.

Personal SubQ™ Infusion Records

Keeping personal records is never easier – no more manual inputs. The Mobile App works with the eZSURE codes displayed so that the infusion data like number and type of needles used, eZSURE SubQ™ sites and medication labels are recorded and archived. Your physician may review these data to maintain or change therapy to support improved outcomes.

Pulls The Tube Dry

At the end of infusion, the Syringe Plunger may be at the end of its barrel. There is no residue in the syringe, but the connecting tubes are full, sometimes almost 0.8 to 1.0 ml of expensive medication. With SubQ™, the peristaltic pump pulls the tube dry – at least almost and delivers it to the patient.

Unique Features Not possible in Syringe Pumps

Direct Infusion from the drug vial. There is no need to transfer to syringe and reduces contamination risks.
Smart pumping mechanism compensates for the tubing residual volume which reduces residual volume. In typical infusion where syringes are used the residual volume in the connecting tubes represent drug wastage.
The operating system is based on peristaltic pumping and not flow restriction with a constant pressure. This obviates the need for “precision flow tubes” and its selection to match needle gauge. No more calculations or table references.
Priming is automatically performed by the pump and patient user will be prompted to activate accurate priming steps so that needle is not wetted.
Blood Reflux tests are available as an option.

Not all subcutaneous needles are created equally. With the Epic Safety Needles, insertion into subcutaneous tissue is smooth and 4 times less painful than most other needles.

The needle shield slides open to expose the needle which is consistently bent at 90 deg and with its bevel correctly aligned. After use, the wings securely protect the used needle from unsafe needle stick injuries during disposal.
